The Revelation:
Then there are others who have been radically changed by the Gospel and Revelation of Jesus Christ. Suddenly their reality has been expanded from the purely physical “here and now” to the “spiritual dimension of eternity”, and the Faith filled assurance that Jesus is the Son of God, Savior of the World, and the Bible is God’s Word and is Truth.
This Revelation is both glorious and life changing.
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!2 Corinthians 5:17
Some of the Jews in the days of the early church said Gentiles must be circumcised to be part of the Church. The Apostle Paul and early church Leaders said “Not so…” Only one thing was required.
It doesn’t matter whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts is whether we have been transformed into a new creation.Galatians 6:15
Once you have been renewed in spirit by faith, everything changes.
But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.1 Peter 2:9 (NLT)
5 Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me. 6 And you will be my kingdom of priests, my holy nation.’ This is the message you must give to the people of Israel.”Exodus 19:5 (NLT)
This is the message that those of us who have been changed must give to everybody… our family, our loved ones, those we know, those we do not know. We are compelled. Jesus said…
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.Matthew 28:19
